Level up your knowledge with Intermediate Jewelry I—a seamless progression from the foundational Beginning Jewelry course. Evolving beyond the basics, participants acquire an array of metalworking techniques, enabling them to craft more complex and ornate jewelry pieces. Soldering techniques expand to encompass containers, hollow structures, and custom chains. Students delve into advanced sawing and piercing methods, culminating in a sculptural hollow ring project.
Ideal for those eager to further their jewelry-making prowess, this class is tailored to the aspiring jeweler. Prior completion of Munson Community Arts Beginning Jewelry course is a prerequisite, ensuring participants are comfortable in the Munson jewelry studio and possess fundamental fabrication skills, including adept use of a jeweler's saw and torch for soldering.
