Intro to Digital Photography

With Quincey Spagnoletti | Beginners - Intermediate | 18 +

Get to know your digital camera and learn basic photography principles through digital photography. This course explores how to take dynamic images through, effects and constructed backgrounds. Skills learned include image editing and processing in Adobe Bridge, Camera RAW and Photoshop. Participants walk away with a culminating photo project that is the result of a well-rounded understanding of each individual’s camera to execute a chosen concept. Required materials list provided.

Meet your instructor, Quincey!

QUINCEY SPAGNOLETTI earned her BA from Colgate University and an MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Her work has been featured in Boston Art ReviewDer GreifPhotoworks UK, and the Leica Gallery, Boston. Recognized as a rising talent in contemporary photography, she was named a Top 25 Photographer to Watch by the Lenscratch Student Prize (2024), a Top 200 Critical Mass Finalist, and a Top 30 Finalist in the KLPA Autoportrait Awards.
