ART EXPLORATIONS I | Session 1

Ages 4 - 5 | Melissa Kirk

Students engage in the process of making art through hands-on exploration and having fun as they challenge their imaginations. Discover vibrant compositions through a playful understanding of color, collage, painting, and sculpture. Children enjoy social interactions provided by activities surrounding class projects.

PLEASE NOTE: Parents are asked to provide a snack for break time and a smock to protect clothing. All other supplies are included.

IMPORTANT: To ensure the age appropriateness of the curriculum, children must meet the age requirement listed with each course description by the beginning of class.

Meet your instructor, Melissa Kirk!

Melissa Kirk is an artist and educator with a passion for fostering creativity in young minds. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from SUNY Oswego in 2013, following a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Green Mountain College in 2011, where she focused on graphic design and both digital and traditional film photography. Melissa combines her love for the arts with her dedication to education, creating engaging and thoughtful environments for students to explore and express their creativity.
