WORKSHOP | Metal Forging Botanicals

with Shannon Nisiewicz | Beginners | 18 +

Learn to cut, bend, weld, and finish metal flowers with the help of the forge torch! This workshop is open to all levels of experience. A variety of botanical subjects will be prompted however students are also free to explore their own ideas. Standard metal rod and sheet metal is provided. Students wishing to bring in their own metal materials should contact the instructor to discuss prior to the first class.

Saturdays + Sundays, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. | 11/9 - 11/17
4 classes | 12 contact hours | Students may stay till 4PM to work in the studio on their projects.

SHANNON NISIEWCZ is an alumni of Pratt Munson and Pratt Institute with a BFA in Sculpture and is currently in the role of technician for the sculpture department.
