WEEKEND WORKSHOP | Building Painting Panels + Stretchers in the Woodshop

with Shannon Nisiewicz | Beginners

Students learn a variety of wood working techniques while building custom panels and stretchers for paintings. This workshop introduces the safe use of band saws, miter saws, table saw, pneumatic staplers, and a selection of hand tools. Wood is supplied for each student to build two panels and two stretchers with a maximum size limit of two feet. Note: Canvas and/or gesso is not supplied but should be brought to class by the student. Material list provided. 

Saturdays + Sundays, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. | 5/11, 5/12, 5/29, 5/30

+ CLASS NOTES: All wood and metal classes require students to wear close-toed shoes, no loose clothing, and hair tied back for safety in the studio.
