Art Talk with Dr. Juleen Qandah:

Can the Arts Improve Your Health?

Tuesday, Nov. 10, noon
Sinnott Family–Bank of Utica Auditorium
Free

Can the arts improve our health and perhaps even help us live longer? Dr. Juleen Qandah explores the growing body of research linking arts engagement with lower stress, improved mood, stronger brain health, social connection, and healthier aging. Drawing on her perspective as an emergency physician, she will separate promising science from hype and offer practical ways to make art part of everyday life.

This program complements the Munson Book Club selection, Art Cure: The Science of How the Arts Save Lives by Daisy Fancourt, which positions the arts as an essential pillar of health. All are welcome to attend.
