Join Elizabeth Welch, Associate Curator of American Art, and Shiori Oki, Henry Luce Foundation Curatorial Fellow and Utica Public Library in exploring the history of landscape painting throughout North America, including art and artist of Central New York. This program will discuss the social, environmental, and global influences upon artists of the 1800s and the natural world. Attendees will get the opportunity to create their own fantastic landscapes in a Munson collection inspired art activity.
