WEEKEND WORKSHOP | Intro to Woodworking
with Shannon Nisiewicz | Beginners | 18 +
As an introduction to working with wood, students learn their way around an academic woodshop within the process of completing a project. Walk through step-by-step instructions with the instructor and create a tool-box, a desk organizer, and a step stool. Band saws, table saw, router table, disc sander and various hand tools and safe techniques are demonstrated. Personalization and creativity within each project is encouraged while staying in the size limits. Required materials and safety clothing list provided.

SHANNON NISIEWCZ is an alumni of Pratt Munson and Pratt Institute with a BFA in Sculpture and is currently in the role of technician for the sculpture department.
